Francis Street WWPS Storm & Foul Pump Upgrade Works, Ennis

Location: Francis Street Waste Water Plant Station, Ennis

Commencement Date: 2019

Project Objective: In 2019 Cantwell were appointed as main contractor to design, supply and install 4No. Storm pumps and 3No. Foul pumps at Francis Street WWPS.

Solutions: Initial works for the Storm Pump Upgrade commenced in January 2019 with follow-up in October 2019 for the Foul Pump Upgrade.

Over the duration of the 2 stages of this project, Cantwell’s successfully installed 4No. Storm pumps to deliver up to 1600 l/sec (duty/assist/assist/standby) and 3No. Foul pumps to deliver up to 270 l/sec (duty/assist/standby).

All MEICA equipment, VSD’s, soft starters, instrumentation, control and telemetry, Radio network, new access covers and all associated minor civil / building works were successfully completed and certified.
